The Rebel Players are a small company originally based in Norwich, with ties to the West Country and London.

Dedicated to producing innovative and provocative touring theatre, we aim to push the boundaries of the stage, performing pieces by both new writers and time honoured classics for audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

Originally a student company The Rebel Players explore revolutionary writers, practitioners and styles from all genres and forms, to create outstanding work that demonstrates all that is exciting about theatre.

Teresa Zoers

Teresa Zoers studied Theatre Direction to MA at the University of East Anglia. Acting Credits include Mama ('Night Mother), Portia (The Merchant of Venice), Kent (King Lear), Jenny (An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein), Rosaura (The Venetian Twins), The Baker's Wife (Into The Woods), Helena (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Dolin/Rape Victim (A Clockwork Orange). Directing credits include Sam Shepard's True West, Marsha Norman's 'Night, Mother (****, Three Weeks), Harold Pinter's One for the Road, Tea Party and The Homecoming, Antoinette Moses' System Failure, Katherine Orr's Sitting Out There, Samuel Beckett's Endgame.

 Roanna Bond

Roanna Bond studied Drama at the University of East Anglia. Acting credits include, Oliver (Oliver), Jessie ('Night, Mother), Shylock (The Merchant of Venice), Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Sherilee (An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein), The White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland), Escalus (Measure for Measure), Annie (The Carpenter). Directing credits include Shepard's True West and Norman's 'Night, Mother (****, Three Weeks).

 

 

Executive Producer

Daisy Cooper

Daisy Cooper was a member of the Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre Group before she studied Drama at the University of East Anglia. Acting credits include Bender (An Adult Evening of Shel Silverstein), Provost (Measure for Measure), Pam (A Day in the Death of Joe Egg), Nun (Breaking the Pope). Technical Supervisor credits include Patrick Marber's Closer, Lewis Caroll's Alice in Wonderland, Bob Carlton's Return to the Forbidden Planet, Marsha Norman's 'Night, Mother and Harold Pinter's One for the Road. Daisy was also the Executive Producer for 'Night, Mother at the Edinburgh Fringe 2007.

Tom Francis

 Tom Francis was involved in local grassroots theatre before he studied drama at the University of East Anglia. Tom will be continuing studies to Postgraduate level. Acting credits include Nicolas (One for the Road), Father (Tea Party), The Player (Rosencrantz and Guildernstern are Dead), Max (The Homecoming) MacDuff (Macbeth), Badger (Wind in the Willows), Lambert Le Roux (Pravda), Lucentio (Taming of the Shrew), Florizel (A Winter's Tale).

Simon Ryninks

Simon Ryninks studied drama and script writing at the University of East Anglia. Acting credits include Victor (One for the Road), Disley (Tea Party), Hamm (Endgame), Joey (The Homecoming), Tonino (The Ventian Twins), Dan (Closer), The Red Knight (Alice in Wonderland). Film directing credits include Erik's Bad Faith, The Ritz (Winner of best script and best drama at National Student Film Awards) and Borrow.

Olivia Vinall

 Olivia Vinall studied drama at the University of East Anglia. Acting credits include Gila (One for the Road), Wendy (Tea Party), Harper (Angels in America), Clov (Endgame), Alice (Alice in Wonderland), Hedda (Hedda Gabler).

Alex Arnold

Acting credits include Nicky (One for the Road), Schoolchild (Scrooge), Woodland Creature (The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe), Soldier Toy (The Toy Factory Dream; based on A Midsummer Night's Dream) and has been involved in all musicals with Norwich Youth Theatre projects.
